"I saw complacency and knew there was more to be done"

While I was studying at Bible college in England, I had a moment of dissatisfaction. Why aren't we doing more? Do we live like Jesus? Are we even sharing his message and reaching the lost?

I couldn't stay passive anymore, so I prayed to God for an opportunity, for ways I could bear fruit in my life and see these testimonies I'd hear all about with my own ears.

Then in early 2023, God answered my prayers...

"Our team went to Irvine, California for weekly evangelism outreach. After many conversations I came across two young guys working at the local valet. I went over and joyfully shared the Gospel with them. Once I'd shared, they looked at each other and said "I'll do it if you do it." And they gave their lives to Jesus."

"At one of our university stops in Canberra we handed out flyers during evangelism to invite people to an event. The last flyer went to a Muslim guy. He shows up the next night at our event. We notice that he was fully engaged in worship and also the message as he took photos and videos of what God was doing in the room. He's deeply moved and responded by giving his life to Christ. We give him a bible after the night ends and he goes to his Muslim dad outside exclaiming "Look, look, I've got a Jesus book!"

"5 people were spontaneously baptised in Melbourne at our event called 'Carrythelove'. One of the girls openly shared how she used to be transgender and only recently got set free. Her testimony was astounding and clear: one moment with Jesus changed her life and she professed her faith by being baptised."

"In Greymouth, my friend Kaelen and I went into a bookstore. We both separately felt a sharp pain in our right knee, to which God told me "pray for the lady's knee next to you." I asked for her name and if she had any pain in her knee. Melissa said yes and that she'd been in a car accident as a teen which caused arthritis, so Kaelen and I prayed and this heat went from my hand onto her knee. In this moment of God's power being released, Melissa was healed of all pain!"

"I preached the Gospel to a couple in Dunedin with my friend Annabel. One of them was Seven Day Adventist, the other a Muslim. As I shared, Annabel got an image about the guy working on cars and knowing every detail of how the car runs. He freaks out and says he's studying mechanical engineering. So we encouraged him that God loves him and sees him. It was a cool moment of God speaking supernaturally."

"6 youth and 1 young adult were baptised at our event in Whakatāne. We experienced a lot of spiritual warfare earlier on in the night as 25, 14-17 year olds went outside to vape, drink, smoke and even attempt to steal merch. Half of the team followed and shared the gospel with them and after a couple of hours they all came back inside for the response time. A few of them repented of their sins, gave their life to Jesus and even got baptised!!

"In Tasmania, we hosted our last event where the Lord led us into a healing call. Many people in the room raised their hands for healing. I go over to a guy at the back who had leg pain, and we pray for full healing in Jesus' name. The pain was at a 7/10 originally, so we prayed and it went down to a 2/10. We weren't satisfied and desired to see all pain gone, and prayed one final time. This time all pain in his knee had completely disappeared as if it was brand new! Jesus is the healer!"

"I spoke to a guy called Tom about what he was studying and what he enjoyed. Shared the Gospel and he told me that he was a Christian but isn’t fully committed. I asked him what was holding him back and he said nothing. I told him Jesus has given him an invitation to be in relationship and it's a daily choice to know him more. I prayed for him and got his instagram. He never replied but I'm full of faith that this conversation called him into the light."

"As we were touring in the Gold Coast, there was a girl at our Carrythelove event who came because she was moved by the promo video we posted on Instagram. She felt nudged to come by the Holy Spirit and explained to one of our staff that she had not been walking with God closely. During the service, she encounters God afresh and rededicates her life to Jesus - all because of a 60 second video"
